For our aviation client Airbus Operations GmbH we are looking for a

Supply Chain and Quality Manager (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

  • Monitoring of industrial robustness through industrial assessments (e.g. IPCA+) to create transparency on suppliers industrial status
  • Development of industrial capacity and capability of cabin suppliers to achieve Airbus strategic targets (rate changes, worldwide industrial footprint etc.) using continuous improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean) and joint development projects (e.g. SQIP)
  • Monitoring "New Product Introduction" and "Transfers of Work" through the supply chain to ensure E2E consistency and on time/on quality performance
  • Securing on time/on quality delivery performance based on sound Key Performance Indicators, with immediate containment actions in order to protect point of use (mainly Airbus Commercial Final Assembly Lines)
  • Proactive management of industrial risks coordinating with internal and external concerned parties
  • Initiating and following recovery plans with suppliers in case of delivery performance degradation to ensure deliveries are back to Airbus requirements
  • Managing interfaces with internal stakeholders, such as MFT leaders, programs and FALs (communication, customer/supplier relation & meetings, improvement actions)
  • Preparing and supporting regular management meetings (Performance Review Meeting, Industrial Senior Management Meeting, Quality Supply Chain Meetings)
  • Communicating at all levels within the supplier's organization and Airbus to influence the decision making

Your profile

  • University degree in Supply Chain Quality, Business Administration, Engineering, Aircraft Engineering or comparable
  • Several years of experience in Supply Chain and Quality Management
  • Very good knowledge in MS-Office
  • User knowledge with Google Suite Products
  • Basic knowledge with Capacity Contingency Planning (CCP) tools desirable
  • User experience with Airbus Supply Management Platform (SMP) and Quality Management Systems
  • Basic knowledge of industrial assessments (e.g. Industrial Process Capability Assessment (IPCA) and Auditing/Assessing procedures
  • Fluent German and English
  • Willingness to travel
