We are currently recruiting on behalf of a market leading multinational technology
company, best known for its web search engine. They are seeking a talented

Sales Specialist (m/w)

Your responsibilities

  • You'll be responsible for generating business holistically with some of the largest Automotive and Health Advertiser clients
  • You'll effectively liaise and work with both the clients and with mutual agency partners in order to achieve this
  • Serve as a trusted consultant to build a deep understanding of client needs (technology and advertising related) and to grow lasting partnerships with key clients
  • Drive marketing performance for clients through consultation, implementation of optimal ad technology set-up and media strategy, thereby growing MBS business and the account performance
  • Manage multiple complex opportunities and projects simultaneously (e.g. coordinate the design of optimal technical set-up, structure commercial proposals, drive optimal implementation of the media plan)
  • Drive cross-functional projects to deliver on specific needs of clients
  • Work in close cooperation with Large Customer Sales (LCS) and Global Client and Agency Sales teams to drive holistic technology and media agreements
  • You will be responsible for managing clients across our suite of buy-side products (e.g. DoubleClick Campaign Manager, DoubleClick Bid Manager, DoubleClick Search, Rich Media and the Google Measurement Suite, etc)
  • You will be adept at managing complex client relationships, sales cycles, implementation projects and media strategies
  • You will contribute to driving transformational change and business growth with our clients

You will contribute

  • You'll bring a solid understanding of the digital advertising industry
  • Experience with the deployment of complex technology solutions, and the ability to drive technology and media business development with large and complex clients
    BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience in online or software sales and/or with online marketing and adtech
  • Ability to speak and write in English and German fluently and idiomatically
  • Having as many of these specific qualifications is a plus, but transferable skills/experiences may be equally valuable
  • Experience in the ad tech market (buy/sell side) and experience using programmatic ad buying tools
  • Experience dealing with C-Level customers and driving sales through relationships
  • Experience in working with media and/or creative agencies
  • Experience in project and change management across organizational boundaries
